What does it mean to have an Organizational Membership?
A qualified organizational member carries the right to say:
•All members of the organization have completed PEPPR's orientation session.
•All members of the organization have learned PEPPR's methods.
•All members of the organization adhere to PEPPR bylaws ensuring the pursuit of PEPPR's mission.
Why should our organization have a PEPPR membership?
The growing trend for ghost hunting is to be a scientific group. Being scientific does not occur
because the use of expensive scientific gadgets. Why hunt ghosts at all if you are just trying to prove their existence to yourself?
The methods that PEPPR uses are by far one of the most well thought out and scientific approaches used today and they can improve with your help and lessons
learned. PEPPR members, by the nature of being qualified members, are trained not only to understand the equipment and how to use it correctly but also how to
conduct a scientific investigation and document it properly. Guidelines to make this process easier and spread out the workload would be provided for free. The
tools to logically develop each investigation have been written and would be provided.
We understand the technology of today and some members are working on the technology of tomorrow in their daily professions. PEPPR members will have the
benefit of contact with other members for networking that allows discussions on equipment, getting advice for working out issues, and sharing of information. As an
affiliate, the organization will be able to provide help to improve the policies and procedures so they may evolve to a better state, and credit will be given where
credit is due. Submit a report with an outstanding innovation or findings and we will post a link to it. The sharing of knowledge is key to helping others to avoid
the same pitfalls. As our membership grows, new members join, the richness of the diversity and information will increase.
What are the qualifications for an Organizational Membership?
To be considered for membership to PEPPR and to maintain membership the following criteria must be met:
1. Agreement to adhere to the Bylaws of PEPPR and all its Policies.
2. Individual or organization applying must be in good standing with the law.
3. A Member, including the individuals belonging to an organization that maintains Organizational Membership, must be able to pass a
urinalysis test for illegal substances, if ever asked, at anytime, at their own expense. There is a zero tolerance policy for those that test
positive. Taking a urinalysis is not required for membership and will not be asked unless PEPPR leadership deems a test necessary through majority vote.
Highly suspicion behavior, that PEPPR feels is tied to drug use, may be grounds enough for denial or termination of membership. Refusal or failure to take and
provide results of the urinalysis within 30 calendar days is grounds for membership termination of individual Membership or Organizational Membership.
